Currently Working On
➤ 💊 I’m the co-founder & CXO at a digital health software startup. I, and two others, founded the company in 2019 raising a $540k pre-seed round. My role has been leading the charge on UX/UI design, working to create a user-friendly interface that would make our software easy to use for not just consumers, but physicians and pharmacists alike. It’s been my responsibility to take every piece of the platform from concept through development, working closely with our team of developers. At the same time, we also focused on marketing, launching multiple in-house brands that utilize our software.
➤ 🎬 I have two YouTube channels. The first one I made is all about money and business. It’s always fascinated me and I think teaching financial literacy and ways to make spare cash can benefit many people. My second and main channel is all about UX/UI and design. I try and share everything that has helped me over the years. It’s a lot of fun, you should check it out.
➤ ✉️ I write a newsletter filled with actionable information from things I discover and learn presented in a fun, easy-to-consume way. I also share helpful links and free resources. It’s called Ryan’s Rabbit Hole because every week I seem to find myself exploring something new. 🤣
Other Cool Stuff
➤ 💻 I’m a self-taught web and product designer. Funny story actually, I just got laid off from my job in advertising and around the same time started watching the show Silicon Valley. That show inspired me to learn product design and dive into UX/UI. Some might say I’m impressionable others inspired, either way, I’m happy it happened. 😂
➤ 🥘 I bought, renovated, opened, and sold a restaurant in 1.5 years. Together with a friend and business partner, we rehabbed an old bar into a casual fine-dining steak and seafood house.
➤ 🪙 I built a media and design agency without prior agency experience, leveraging my skillsets and eventually growing it with clients across the country.
➤ 🎓 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from the Eberly School of Business at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
➤ 🏋️♂️ I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 2014. Fitness has always been a big part of my life, and I wanted a way to be able to teach others these life-changing principles.
➤ ✏️ I enjoy cartoons, specifically 90s-era stuff like old-school Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, and of course The Simpsons. You’ll find Easter eggs throughout this site and my other work.
➤ 💑 After Covid postponed our wedding twice, I finally married the love of my life, Brittany, in 2021. We reside in Pennsylvania with our Aussie/Border Collie puppy, Tucker.
